MONUMENT TO THE PATRIOTS OF THE UPRISING OF 1837-38
All photos on this page are the property of Rosalie Kubik Ferris.
They are NOT to be used for commercial purposes, but feel free to download them for your personal use.
Unfortunately, we never thought to stand further back to get a better picture....
The top is like an obelisk [like the Washington Monument in D.C. United States]. The monument's 8 sides each bear a plaque with the names of those executed or deported.
Below is the plaque dedicated to those executed, including cousin Joseph DUQUET.
The plaque reads (this is incomplete...some words were difficult to see, indicated by a '___'):
I'll have someone in Montréal check it for me soon. Is there anyone who can help with this?
